How it all started
Just as steady drops of water can shape mighty canyons over time, Daily Tzedaka began with the simple conviction that small, consistent acts of giving—repeated every day—can add up to profound, lasting change. The idea took root when founder Nissim Davidoff, a real estate investor and CEO of EZ Short Sales, paused one day and asked himself: what would happen if the mitzvah of giving became a daily habit rather than an occasional act?
Motivated by that question, Nissim and a small group of friends set out to make everyday generosity easy, meaningful, and sustainable. They built a platform that turns modest daily contributions into collective impact—channeling those funds to vetted charities and communities that need them most. What started as a personal insight has grown into a movement: one that proves consistency and community can multiply the power of a single dollar.
Today, Daily Tzedaka connects thousands of donors who share a simple promise—to give a little, every day—and together they deliver support, hope, and dignity across the globe.
At Daily Tzedakah, we firmly believe in the extraordinary power of small acts of generosity to bring about positive change. We are a platform that promotes a simple yet impactful concept: giving at least $1 every day of the year.
Founded in 2024 by Nissim Davidoff, a real estate investor and CEO of EZ Short Sales, Daily Tzedaka was created with a simple yet powerful mission — to make giving a part of everyday life. By uniting a growing community of dedicated donors, Daily Tzedaka transforms small daily acts of charity into a collective force for good. Through the generosity and consistency of its supporters, the organization continues to impact countless individuals and families around the world, spreading kindness and hope one day at a time.

FAQ's
How mucmoney goes to the actual charities?
One hundred percent! Our operations and marketing budgets are covered by a private group of donors so that our Daily Tzedakah contributors' full donations help fund a different beneficiary each and every day.
Can I give more than $1 each day?
Of course! Most people give $1 a day, but many give additional daily dollars for family members, loved ones who are sick, or for those who have passed away. View our most popular dollar amounts per day here.
How often will I be charged?
You can choose to have your account charged either monthly or yearly. (We do not charge your account every day in order to avoid extra processing fees.) We then distribute a portion of your gift every day until the next recurring charge. PLEASE NOTE: We only distribute donations outside of Shabbat and Yom Tov days, as per Jewish law.
Can I send a check?
If you would prefer to send a check, we've got you covered. Checks can be made out to Daily Tzedakah Org. and can be sent to: 3050 Whitestone Expwy Suite 402N, Flushing, NY 11354. Make sure to include your name, address, phone number, and email with your check so that we can keep you updated on your tzedaka.
Can I join if I live outside of the United States?
We accept donations from anywhere in the world, although we can only share a US tax receipt at the moment. Stay tuned for news on tax deduction status in other countries.
Can I dedicate my donation in memory of or in honor of someone or an event?
Yes, you can! When you sign up, you will be prompted with an opportunity to dedicate your tzedaka. If your donation is a gift for a loved one, you can request that you both receive our daily emails as a reminder of your gift to them. We can then write an email on your behalf informing them of your donation. Contact us directly to customize your message.
How do I receive a tax receipt?
Tax receipts are sent to the email on your account after every donation you make. As a Daily Tzedakah contributor, you can access your receipts in your donor portal at any time.
How do I make changes to my account?
You can adjust your Daily Tzedakah credit card and subscription information by visiting your donor portal at portal.dailytzedakah.org. Additionally, you can send an email to dailytzedakah@gmail.com or call us at +1 (800) 595-8384.
